Many times, I missed out on university society events and competitions. The main reason was that it wasn’t easy to go through different groups and gather information from each one. That’s when the idea struck me—to create "BHU Connect Societies"
This platform brings together all societies in one place, making it simple to stay updated with their events, latest news, and many more opportunities. Now, everything you need to know about societies at BHU is just one step away—on a single platform.
Aim
I want BHU societies to be more than just campus activities—I want them to become platforms where the next Shah Rukh Khan, the next Sushant Singh Rajput, the next global entrepreneur or changemaker can take their first step.
Just as societies in Oxford, Harvard, IITs, and DU have shaped legends, BHU Connect Societies will work to ensure our students get the same opportunities, exposure, and inspiration—right here at BHU.
OUR VISION
At BHU Connect Societies, we believe every student society has the power to transform lives and create leaders. My dream is to see BHU’s societies grow into vibrant communities—just like the well-developed societies in world-class universities and top Indian institutions.
Across the world, student societies have shaped icons—Oxford Union has trained global politicians, Harvard societies have nurtured changemakers, and MIT clubs have inspired startups that changed industries.
Similarly, in India, many of our own stars and leaders started their journey from college societies. *Shah Rukh Khan** honed his acting skills with *Theatre Action Group* at Delhi University. *Sushant Singh Rajput* was an active member of his engineering college theatre society before entering Bollywood. At *IITs and IIMs*, societies and clubs have given birth to entrepreneurs who built world-renowned companies. Even at *DU’s debating and dramatics societies*, countless leaders, actors, and thinkers took their first steps.
